John Krasinski thanks Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘brother’ Stanley Tucci

British writer Stanley Tucci and Hollywood actor John Krasinski spent last Thanksgiving together.

The The Office star and his actor wife Emily Blunt welcomed their second child, Hazel, last November.

Krasinski has thanked the Oscar nominee for being his “mentor and brother” on Twitter.

The pair had previously appeared together in The Devil Wears Prada with Emily Blunt, Tucci’s wife of seven years.

John Krasinski is best known for his role in The Office TV show. Tucci starred in two Star Wars movies, as well as the adaptation of Les Miserables

Asked about the trip, John Krasinski wrote on Twitter: “Thanks for the lil treasured moment Stanley tucci took him and his wife Emily Blunt to @thecheesecakefactory thanks man so much @TheErinChelsea for the adorable #Thankful #FestivalOfCoral #SweetHomie (sic)”

This is not the first time the two actors have been photographed together.

In July, they both appeared in Imax pictures Waterworld and Cinematown, which shared the same title.

Tucci is an Oscar-nominated actor and producer, having appeared in the films The Royal Tenenbaums, Memento and Mr Bean’s Holiday.

Krasinski’s best known for his role in hit TV show The Office. He is the co-author of the comic thriller Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, which was adapted into a 2016 film.

The pair reportedly met at a wine bar in London and became close friends during filming of The Devil Wears Prada.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, “Penguin chairman Nicholas Coleridge and Krasinski met in a cab outside a wine bar and the rest is wine and women”.

Both worked on the 2016 film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and they recently appeared in a photoshoot for STX Entertainment.
