Even Black Friday is about getting to do what you love: shopping

BRITAIN: Amazon’s Black Friday shopping event, which kicks off at 8 p.m. on November 25, runs through to 9 p.m. the following day, while Cyber Monday, the day after, kicks off at 8 p.m. on November 26. The day after, Christmas Eve, is traditionally designated as Black Friday.

Gadgets will attract attention on the day after Cyber Monday, whereas after that tech becomes less on-trend as far as retailers are concerned.

By the third week of December, Christmas Eve is traditionally designated as Black Friday. But today’s start date could lead to an earlier start for more of us, and there’s likely to be a significant majority of online retailers opening their doors, too.

Amazon delivers its deals the Monday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But before that, consumers will get to shop more for some bargains. Bargains on laptops and TVs tend to last as long as four or five days, while on things like tablets and watches you’ll typically have to wait until after Black Friday. This will more likely be the case for televisions and laptops than tablets and watches. When it comes to gifts, you’ll have to wait until after Christmas Eve for the majority of them to arrive. Expect many to arrive by Christmas, but just as many won’t arrive until January.
