(CNN) — It looks like it’s a good day to fly!

Tom Cruise is in the air, but he’s not doing anything thrilling, or even likely dangerous.

Cruise was spotted filming scenes for “Mission: Impossible — Fallout” on a silver aircraft flying down I-95 near the Washington, DC, area. He’s using a stunt double, a source tells CNN.

A video that popped up on Twitter shows Cruise dangling from a wing, with a red-and-white parachute attached.

Actor Tom Cruise in October, on the London set of “Mission: Impossible — Fallout,” the eighth in the series.

We’d still rather see Cruise hanging from a building, even if it’s a teardrop-shaped one.

“Mission: Impossible — Fallout” is to hit theaters July 26. The film follows Cruise as he leads the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) to stop a mysterious figure known as The Tsar (Mel Gibson) and his Russian allies. Henry Cavill and Alec Baldwin co-star.

Cruise had a stunt for “The Mummy” almost go awry. The star injured his ankle when his stunt for the new movie went awry.
